This board game is at heart a discussion about the voting campaigns for the 2020 election. The game plays on the ideas of ‘progress’ as determined by sharing on social media as opposed to real work towards change.
The player spins the wheel in order to move their piece. Depending on the piece, they will flip the respective card and follow its directions. The directions are often playful, such as, “You posted on social media. That’s enough for today,” in regards to those of us whose activism stops at face value.
The game is designed to playfully raise awareness and to be critical of ourselves and our actions during the time of the 2020 election and all times of social unrest.
